Intent

Today we attack a chipper. That means you start at the top and work through each movement to its complete rep scheme before advancing forward to the next. Grip and hinging is a common theme through today’s workout. Picking up the deadlift bar with a moderately heavy load for high reps, the goal is for you to be able confidently execute 10-15 deadlift reps in one set if coach asked you to. This is important not just for the deadlifts but also because we must consider the DB snatches that are coming for you in the latter part of the workout. The box jumps we have sandwiched in the middle of all of this can be jumped down if you are comfortable with training that way. Stepping down will always still be RX’d if you choose to jump up.
