Intent

(0-5)

Upside down a second time in the same week? Life is hard my friend, and when variance is pure yet intentional, the demand on our body should reflect something out of the norm from time to time. I’ve even done “Fight Gone Bad” on back to back training days before because #variance. But don’t worry, not doing that to you guys. Today there is a tremendous amount of upper body limitation and high skill with the hang squat snatch. Scaling is important today to look at the time and decide what you may be capable of within that working window. Focus and self awareness along with a solid “push” of effort will be very important for a good session today. As fatigue builds on the wall, the barbell will be hard to control–a lot like parenting a teenager, or helping a spouse who had a bad day, or a midterm that you poorly prepared for. Today we adapt.
