Strongman Class – We have added a Strongman class every Tuesday and Thursday at 0630a and 10am only. Everyone is welcome to attend this class, keeping in mind that this is a lightly coached class so you must be able to perform the movements safely.  Due to the equipment that is involved and some of the movements, please refrain from doing this type of workout at any other class times. Thank you for adhering to our class times and schedule. We do have open gym time every Sunday from 12-2p. 

What is Strongman? Strongman is a fun way for Cross-Fitters to increase strength without using a barbell. Because of the often awkward size, shape and consistency of the objects used in strongman, it better mimics challenges you might find outside of the gym.  Some of those objects you would use are atlas stones, sand bags or you would use sleds, yoke carry, farmer carry, etc. 

BOD POD Testing – Some of you did body fast testing last year with the mobile Bod Pod we brought in. The mobile bod pod was supposed to come back for retesting…unfortunately this did not happen. We have since found a local mobile bod pod and she will be coming to our Box on Saturday January 24th. Sign up sheets will be hanging up, be sure to sign up if you want to participate. For those of you who participated the first time around and paid,we will take care of it for you. Please get with Sara or Troy.  The cost is $30 for one time. Run 400 meters

Competitors or athletes wanting to improve your Fitness level:
4 x 3 Push Jerks –  find today’s 3 rep max

Then
Max rep push jerks @80% of today’s 3 rep max
